Our update for this time falls to the most successful battle rifle in the world, the FN FAL. The story of FAL begins immediately after second world war where the era of bolt-action battle rifle was gone. FAL prototype was completed in 1946 to adopted by german forces, which is called FN Universal Carbine. Is a British-Belgian prototype rifle chambered with 7.92x33mm Kurz by Belgian engineers who fled to the Britain during WWII in the mid-1940s and the design work was completed at RSAF in Enfield, Britain which resulting two versions, The No. 1 Standard rifle configuration and the No. 2 Bullpup rifle configuration. However with the NATO policy, they have to rechange the caliber so it could fire the standard issue 7.62x51mm NATO standardized rounds. 

The first FAL begin to production in 1953 adopted firstly by Belgian forces, then followed by 90 countries including UK, Canada, Australia, and South American countries. It was nicknames "The right arm of the free world" meaning a symbol of the struggle against communism, the counterpart of Warsaw Pact's FAL, the Soviet AK-47. The FAL also called the symbol of revolt in the Cold War due to most countries including British Commonwealth, West European nations, and their allies most of them had adopted the FAL in the hands of the soldiers. In addition to FAL rifle, The FAL was also adopted too in across of middle east nations, one of them is Israel during Six Day War in 1967 most IDF also equipped with FAL with UZI became their secondary weapons for against Egyptian, Jordanian, ans Syrian troops.

The FAL operated by gas-operated action driven by short-stroke spring-loaded piston that found in the SVT-40 Soviet, with locking mechanism as known as "Tilting Breechblock" drop locking to solid shoulder metal in the heavy receiver, much like bolts of Soviet SKS carbine and MAS-49 series of semi-automatic rifles. The FAL's gas system is fitted with gas regulator behind the front sight, allowing to adjustment of the gas system in response to enviromental conditions.

FAL is also known as the most reliable and hard-hitting battle rifle with the right operator. This hardware performance could be subtle yet dangerous. For one example during Falklands War which both sides UK and Argentine armed with FALs (L1A1 SLR semi-auto only adopted by UK), when UK captured Argentine's full auto FAL, this will lead British regiments had an upper hand by spreading more leads yet powerful at the enemy to the.....
